THE FISKERTON LIGHT RAILWAY
FIRST 2012 OPEN DAY

Our host produced this delightful little device, based on a Nigerian prototype.....................

Ian Shields had finally managed to get all his skips and slate wagons to couple, and ran behind a TR loco...................

............. with Terry's Padarn brake van on the back end.

Roger Coleman ran his 2.4 gig controlled Dylan with his rake of passenger stock - DON'T forget his Open Day on 29th July!

John Mawby brought the last ever "William"....................................

.............. and Ian brought his Finescale "Betty"...........................

.............. seen here on a newly-relaid section of track.

"Note to railway designers - always allow room to put the tea tray down without blocking any track!"

the MDLR brought its latest acquisition, hauling a van train.

John borrowed Roger's stock for a run.

Our host brought out a "NOT a L&M loco" with the Fiskerton Light Railway's passenger stock...........

............... which includes this beautifully-detailed Buffet Car - good job the windows are nice and big, so you can see the detail.

The Flagg Fluorspar Co's train was the only one to venture up the branch..................

............... which it was able to do without getting in the way of the steamers (again)

Linda Mawby was distinctly unimpressed with all of it!
